Who is the first father-son duo to play an international cricket match?
Suhail Sattar and Yahya Suhail became the first-ever father-son duo to play an international cricket match together during Timor-Leste’s T20I against Indonesia.
The pair made their debut for the Southeast Asian nation on Thursday against Indonesia in the Indonesia Tri-nation T20I series, happening in Bali.
Timor-Leste has lost two out of two games so far. In the first game against Indonesia, Sattar managed to post a 15-ball 14, while Suhail was dismissed for a one-ball six, as their side was bundled out for a meagre 61. They eventually suffered a 10-wicket loss.
Timor-Leste struggled even more in their second game against Myanmar, being all out for 32 runs. Sattar was removed for a five-ball duck, while Suhail was dismissed for a two-ball two.
