IND vs PAK: India registers second-highest PowerPlay score against Pakistan in Women’s ODIs
India registered its second-highest PowerPlay score — 54 — against Pakistan in WODIs during the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 league match at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday.
Openers Smriti Mandhana and Pratika Rawal added 48 runs for the first wicket before India’s vice-captain was trapped leg before in the ninth over. Harleen Deol and Pratika added six more runs in the 10th over of the PowerPlay, taking India to 54.
India’s highest-ever PowerPlay score against Pakistan is 60, which it brought up during a Women’s Asia Cup match in Dambulla, 2008.
