IPL 2026 Final: When was the last time a team won back-to-back IPL titles?

Royal Challengers Bengaluru is looking to win its second consecutive IPL trophy when it contests the IPL 2026 Final against Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 31.

If it manages to do so, it will become just the third franchise to win back-to-back IPL trophies in consecutive years after Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.

MI is the most recent back-to-back winner, defeating CSK in the 2019 final by one run, before beating Delhi Capitals in the 2020 final by five wickets.

CSK won in 2010 and 2011, defeating MI by 22 runs in the first final before beating RCB by 58 runs in the second.

GT, RCB’s opponent on Sunday, came within two balls of this feat in 2023 after winning the title in 2022.
