ZIM vs SA, 1st Test: Corbin Bosch becomes fourth South African to record century and fifer in same Test

Corbin Bosch became only the fourth South African cricketer to score a hundred and take a five-wicket haul in the same Test, during his side’s series opener against Zimbabwe on Tuesday.

Bosch, who finished 100 not out in South Africa’s first innings, took five for 43 in the final innings to help his team to a massive 328-run win.

The 30-year-old is the first Proteas cricketer to do the all-round double since Jacques Kallis, who achieved the feat twice – first in 1999 against West Indies and then against Bangladesh in 2002.

The first South African to complete this feat was Jimmy Sinclair, who scored 106 and claimed a six-fer against England in 1899.

He was followed by Aubrey Faulkner, who achieved the double in 1910, against England.
