Women’s ODI World Cup 2025: Full list of winners, runners-up ahead of India vs South Africa final
The ICC Women’s ODI World Cup is set to have a new champion when India and South Africa face off in the 2025 edition final at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Sunday.
Only three nations have triumphed in the ODI World Cup so far — Australia (seven titles), England (three titles) and New Zealand (one title).
India beat defending champion Australia by five wickets to enter its third final, while South Africa trumped England by 125 runs to qualify for its maiden summit clash appearance.
India’s best-ever finish in ODI World Cup history has been as runners-up, in the 2005 and 2017 editions, losing to Australia and England, respectively.
