Who will India face in the final of the U-19 World Cup?

India sealed its spot in the final of the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2026 with a seven-wicket victory over Afghanistan at the Harare Sports Club on Wednesday, February 4.

Aaron George scored a sparkling 115 to help the Indian Colts haul down the target of 311 set by Afghanistan, while Vaibhav Suryavanshi and skipper Ayush Mhatre both added fifties as well.

India will now face England in the final of the tournament on Friday, February 6, at the Harare Sports Club. The match will begin at 1:00PM IST. England and India are the only two unbeaten sides in the tournament.

England qualified for the final with a thrilling 27-run victory over Australia in the other semifinal. Skipper Thomas Rew’s effort of 110 trumped Aussie skipper Oliver Peake’s 100 as England set up a rematch of the 2022 final.

2026 will be India’s tenth appearance in an Under-19 World Cup final. It has won five titles and appeared in each of the last five finals. Its last title came in that 2022 final, where it defeated England by four wickets in North Sound.
