India international Abhishek Sharma broke several records during his cracking innings for Punjab against Bengal in an Elite Group C game of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Abhishek, opening the batting with Prabhsimran Singh, got to his fifty in just 12 balls, facing a Bengal bowling attack, headlined by Mohammed Shami and Akash Deep.
En route to his ton, he smashed seven fours and 11 sixes, striking at a blistering rate of 300-plus.
