Vaibhav Sooryavanshi pushed a Sri Lanka A player, Vishen Halambage, after India A lost the Super Over during the Tri Nation A Series in Dambulla on Monday.

The incident happened after Sooryavanshi missed out on hitting off the last ball of the game and Sri Lanka A players began celebrating their win.

While the players were in a huddle, Sooryavanshi was seen pushing Halambage. After they were separated, Sooryavanshi continued to speak in the direction of the Sri Lankan huddle while walking back.

India A needed 19 runs in the Super Over, however, it could only manage 11 runs in reply.

The final 30 minutes of the game saw plenty of animated chats from the Indian camp, led by Tilak Varma.

After the match was tied in the final over, captain Tilak had an animated chat with the umpires, trying to convince them to play the Super Over. After nearly 10 minutes, umpires did decide to continue the game.

When Sri Lanka A finished its chance to bat, Tilak continued to speak to the umpires who were looking at the light meters on whether to continue the game.
