Virat Kohli scores his 83rd century in international cricket during IND vs SA 1st ODI
Virat Kohli completed his 83rd international century — 52nd in One-Day Internationals — during the India vs South Africa 1st ODI at the JSCA International Stadium in Ranchi on Sunday.
Kohli completed his century in 102 balls with the help of seven fours and five sixes.
Coincidently, Kohli’s century is also the 7000th individual hundred in Men’s international cricket.
Batting at number three, the 37-year-old came out to bat in the fourth over and added 136 runs for the second with Rohit Sharma in 109 deliveries.
Kohli reached his fifty in 48 balls — his 76th in ODIs.
His last ODI hundred at home came against New Zealand during the 2023 World Cup in Mumbai. His previous century came against Pakistan in February earlier this year in the Champions Trophy.
