Vaibhav Suryavanshi slams 63-ball century against South Africa U-19
Vaibhav Suryavanshi continued his carnage in the age-group cricket as he slammed a 63-ball century during the third One-Day game between India Under-19 and South Africa Under-19 in Benoni on Wednesday.
This is Suryavanshi’s third century in Youth ODIs.
The 14-year-old, leading the Indian unit, slammed six four and eight sixes enroute his century.
Suryavanshi has added 197 runs for the opening wicket with his partner Aaron George so far after India was put into the bat first.
In the 2nd game, the left-hander had smacked a 24-ball 68 (1×4, 10×6), unlocking another milestone by reaching his fifty off just 15 balls—the fastest in youth ODIs. He is also the holder of the fastest hundred in the format.
India U-19 has already sealed the three-match series 2-0 and is looking to sweep the series before going into the U-19 World Cup later this month.
