Under-19 World Cup 2026: List of Player of the Tournament winners
India defeated England by 100 runs in Harare on Friday to clinch its sixth ICC Under-19 World Cup title.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi was the standout performer for India with his blistering 175-run essay off just 80 balls. His innings got India to a commanding 411 for nine in 50 overs. Caleb Falconer hit a century but England’s reply folded at 311 in the 41st over.
The southpaw was named the Player of the Tournament for this edition, making him the sixth Indian to win the prize.
Yashasvi Jaiswal was the last Indian to win the award. Before him, Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, Shikhar Dhawan and Yuvraj Singh have claimed the honours.
