The Hundred Auction 2026: Haris Rauf among 14 Pakistani players set to go under hammer

The Hundred Auction will take place on March 11 and 12, ahead of the 2026 season of the tournament. The men’s auction will feature 247 players, according to the longlist revealed on Monday.

The men’s longlist includes 14 Pakistanis after 63 players from the country signed up for the auction.

Fast bowler Haris Rauf is the only Pakistan player to be included in the ‘Marquee Players International’ category. Out of the 14 Pakistani players set to go under the hammer, seven have secured the highest reserve price (£100,000).

Pakistani players were in the eye of a storm after a BBC report claimed that the four Indian Premier League-linked franchises in The Hundred—Manchester Super Giants, MI London, Southern Brave and Sunrisers Leeds—would not consider them at the auction.

However, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) last month stated that Pakistani players would not be discriminated against by the eight franchises.

Nine players from Pakistan have featured in The Hundred since the tournament began in 2021. Last year, Mohammad Amir and Imad Wasim were the only Pakistani players who took part in the competition.
