Team India to get Rs. 131 crore from BCCI for winning T20 World Cup 2026

The Indian T20I team will get a cash reward of Rs. 131 Cr. for winning the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced on Tuesday.

India beat New Zealand by 96 runs to successfully defend the T20 World Cup, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on March 8. With the feat, it clinched its third T20 World title, becoming the most successful team in the tournament.

“The Board congratulates the players, support staff and selectors once again on this historic achievement and wishes them continued success in the future,” the BCCI said in a release.
