T20 World Cup 2026: Will Jacks scores fastest 50 for England in tournament history
All-rounder Will Jacks made history in the ongoing T20 World Cup, scoring England’s fastest 50 in tournament history in the match against Italy on Monday.
Jacks smashed his fifty off just 21 balls to break the previous record held jointly by Eoin Morgan and Jos Buttler, who both reached the mark in 25 balls against West Indies and Australia, respectively.
Coming out to bat at No. 7, Jacks’ 53 (22b, 3×4, 4×6) propelled England to a tall total of 202 in what is a must-win game for the two-time champion.
