T20 World Cup 2026: England qualifies for Super Eights after beating Italy
England booked its spot in the Super Eights of the T20 World Cup 2026 after beating Italy by 24 runs in their Group C match at Eden Gardens on Monday.
The win took England to six points, making it the second team from its group, after West Indies, and fourth overall to qualify for the next stage so far.
Defedning champion India and last year’s runner-up South Africa are the other two nations to advance.
