Sri Lanka squad for England T20I series: Full list of players announced; Shanaka to lead
Sri Lanka named a 16-member squad on Wednesday for its upcoming three-match T20I series against England, which begins on Friday at the Pallekele Cricket Stadium.
Dasun Shanaka will continue to lead the team, which has retained its core from the recent T20I series against Pakistan, which was tied 1-1. The three games against England will be Sri Lanka’s last opportunity to fine-tune its combinations ahead of next month’s T20 World Cup.
Sri Lanka is coming off a 1-2 series defeat to England in the one-dayers and will look to settle scores against the Harry Brook-led side.
