SRH vs DC IPL 2026: Abhishek century powers Sunrisers Hyderabad to third in points table
A sensational century from Abhishek Sharma helped Sunrisers Hyderabad comprehensively defeat Delhi Capitals by 47 runs at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Tuesday night.
Put into bat, SRH posted a massive 242 on the board thanks to Abhishek’s unbeaten innings of 135 off 68 balls and a cameo from Heinrich Klaasen (37 off 13 balls) in the back end of the innings.
DC lost Pathum Nissanka early in the chase but did put up a fight through Nitish Rana (57 off 30 balls) too stay close to the asking rate till the 10th over.
But the visitor lost Rana, KL Rahul and David Miller in quick succession, which all but sealed the result in SRH’s favour.
