SMAT 2025-26: Abhishek Sharma scores 32-ball century in Punjab vs Bengal
Abhishek Sharma smashed a 32-ball century for Punjab against Bengal during an Elite Group C game in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Abhishek, opening the batting with Prabhsimran Singh, got to his fifty in just 12 balls, facing a Bengal bowling attack, headlined by Mohammed Shami and Akash Deep.
En route to his ton, he smashed seven fours and 11 sixes, striking at a blistering rate of 300-plus.
This is the third fastest T20 hundred by an Indian — Urvil Patel and Abhishek share the record for the quickest hundred, off only 28 balls, which both batters achieved in 2024.
