RCB vs CSK: Khaleel Ahmed bowls most expensive over of IPL 2025
Chennai Super Kings bowler Khaleel Ahmed conceded 33 runs in an over against Royal Challengers Bengaluru to register the most expensive over in the Indian Premier League 2025.
This over was the joint third most expensive across all editions of the tournament.
Bowling the 19th over of the innings to Romario Shephard, Khaleel conceded four sixes and two fours. He also bowled a no ball. This equals the runs conceded by Kings XI Punjab’s Parwinder Awana, who conceded 33 runs against Chennai Super Kings.
The unceremonious record for the most expensive over in the IPL belongs to P. Parameswaran, who played for Kochi Tuskers Kerala, and gave away 37 runs against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
