Ravindra Jadeja becomes joint-highest CSK wicket-taker in IPL history


Ravindra Jadeja became Chennai Super Kings’ joint-highest wicket-taker after claiming Shashank Singh’s wicket in their home match against Punjab Kings on Wednesday.

The left-arm spinner equalled Dwayne Bravo’s record of 140 wickets for the Yellow Army, moving to the top of the list. R. Ashwin follows in third place with 95 wickets.

Bravo achieved his 140 wickets in 116 matches, while Jadeja reached the milestone in 182 games. However, Jadeja boasts a better economy rate of under eight compared to Bravo’s 8.36.
