Ranji Trophy, Round 2, Day 4 wrap: Check full list of results with scorecards

Outright results were at a premium as the second round of Ranji Trophy fixtures came to a close on Tuesday.

Mohammed Shami produced an impressive display for Bengal, taking five wickets to bowl his side to a 141-run victory over Gujarat in Kolkata despite a fighting century from Urvil Patel. The pacer ran through Gujarat’s lower-order to seal consecutive wins for his side.

In Bengaluru, Dega Nischal and Imliwati Lemtur continued their spirited resistance from the third day to earn Nagaland a draw against Tamil Nadu. Nischal eventually fell for 175, while Lemtur’s knock ended on 146, but it was enough to help their side stave off defeat.

Ayush Pandey also scored an unbeaten century at the top of the order for Chhattisgarh to see his side through to a draw against Mumbai.
