PBKS vs LSG, IPL 2026 — Priyansh, Connolly put on a show to help Punjab Kings extend unbeaten run


A T20 batting performance of the highest order helped Punjab Kings trounce Lucknow Super Giants by 54 runs at the PCA New Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh and extend its unbeaten run.

A power packed innings from Priyansh Arya (93 off 37 balls) and Cooper Connolly (87 off 46 balls) helped PBKS post a mammoth 254/7 on the board, the highest team total so far this season.

The total proved to be one too many runs for LSG. Mitchell Marsh and Ayush Badoni who opened the batting today, provided a steady start for the visitor but the rest of the lineup, barring Rishabh Pant to an extent, could not keep up with the climbing asking rate and lost their wickets in the process.

In the end, LSG fell short of the target by 54 runs, and slumped to its fourth defeat of the season.
