New Zealand squad for Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 — Sophie Devine to lead, four players receive maiden call up
New Zealand announced its squad for the upcoming ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 on Wednesday.
The 15-member side will be led by veteran Sophie Devine and features four first-time World Cup selections: Flora Devonshire, Polly Inglis, Bella James, and Bree Illing.

The squad also has plenty of experience at its core. Suzie Bates, alongside Devine, will be appearing in her fifth ODI World Cup, while Lea Tahuhu heads into her fourth. Maddy Green and Melie Kerr will each be playing in their third.
