Indians in County Cricket: Unadkat impresses for Sussex, Suthar claims two wickets on debut
The latest round of fixtures of the County Championship has begun, with two Indian players featuring in this set of matches.
Jaydev Unadkat had an impressive outing for Sussex against Glamorgan at Hove, claiming figures of four for 29 in 14.2 overs including opener and England hopeful Asa Tribe. His impressive showing helped Sussex claim a dominant position, as it bowled out the visitor for 155 before reaching 136 for two at the close of play.
Meanwhile, Manav Suthar had a middling debut for Warwickshire against Yorkshire at Scarborough. On a pitch highly condusive to batting, he returned figures of two for 76 in 19 overs. He had Sam Whiteman stumped for 55 to claim his maiden wicket, before returning later in the day to dismiss William Luxton for 167.
