The latest round of fixtures of the County Championship began on Friday, with two Indian players, Jaydev Unadkat and Manav Suthar featuring in this set of matches. Day 2 witnessed both
Unadkat, who impressed on Day 1 by picking up a four-wicket haul to help Sussex bowl out Glamorgan, contributed 20 runs with the bat in the second innings, as Sussex were bowled out for a mammoth 521.
In the third innings, Unadkat finished with figures of 0/12 in five overs in the third innings at the end of the day’s play as Sussex look set for a big victory.
Meanwhile, Suthar after picking two wickets against Yorkshire on Day 1, improved his tally on Day 2 by dismissing George Hill, to finish with figures of 3/85. With the bat, Suthar played a handy innings of 33 off 73 balls, including four fours to help Warwickshire end Day 2 on 225/7.
