India A Squad for Australia A ODIs, ROI Team for Irani Cup Announced: Full Players List
The Senior Men’s Selection Committee has announced the India A squad for the three-match one-day series against Australia A and the Rest of India (ROI) squad for the upcoming Irani Cup.
India A, led by Shreyas Iyer, will play its matches in Kanpur from September 30, while the Irani Cup, featuring ROI against Ranji Trophy 2024-25 champion Vidarbha, will be held in Nagpur from October 1.
Notably, Shreyas was not considered for selection in the Irani Cup after informing the BCCI of his decision to take a six-month break from red-ball cricket. Having undergone back surgery in the UK and managed his recovery successfully, Iyer has recently experienced recurring spasms and stiffness while playing the longer format.
