India vs UAE T20I Head to head record:
India and the UAE have met only once in T20I history — during the 2016 Asia Cup in Mirpur, Bangladesh.
After opting to bat at the Shere Bangla National Stadium, the UAE was restricted to 81 for nine in its 20 overs, with each of India’s six bowlers taking a wicket. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, India’s leading wicket-taker in the Men’s Asia Cup T20, returned figures of 2 for 8 in his four-over spell, while Shaiman Anwar top-scored for the Associate side with 43 off 48 balls, including three fours and a six.
Left-arm spinner Pawan Negi made his India debut in that match, claiming the wicket of Muhammed Usman.
In reply, India cruised to a nine-wicket win with 59 balls to spare, powered by Rohit Sharma’s 39 off 28 and Yuvraj Singh’s 14-ball 25.
