India’s Rishabh Pant broke Virender Sehwag’s record for most sixes by an Indian in Test cricket during the second day of the first Test against South Africa at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Saturday.
The wicketkeeper-batter registered his 92nd maximum when he hammered Keshav Maharaj over long on.
The left-handed batter sits seventh in the overall list for most sixes in Test cricket — England skipper Ben Stokes topping the charts with 136.
