IND vs NZ 1st T20I: Axar Patel goes off the field due to finger injury
India all-rounder Axar Patel went off the field due to a finger injury during the first T20I against New Zealand at the VCA Stadium in Nagpur on Wednesday.
Attempting to catch a shot from Daryl Mitchell off his own bowling, Axar threw his left hand at the ball and was struck on the tip of the his index finger.
Broadcast visuals showed the finger bleeding and Axar went off the field. Abhishek Sharma was brought in to bowl the remaining five deliveries of the over.
