Hyderabad chases 344 against Himachal: List of highest successful run chases in Ranji Trophy history
Hyderabad chased down 344 runs against Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday in their Ranji Trophy round three fixture at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Cricket Stadium in Amtar.
The target was the highest Hyderabad has overhauled, and the 10th-highest in Ranji Trophy history. The record for the highest target chased in the tournament belongs to Railways, which got 378 against Tripura in the 2023/24 season. Hyderabad’s previous best came in 1938, when it shot down 310 runs against Mumbai.
Abhirath Reddy led the run chase with his unbeaten 175 runs off 200 balls, helping Hyderabad secure the six points despite conceding a 40-run first-innings lead.
