Crystal Palace name Pierre Sage as their new head coach
Crystal Palace have appointed Pierre Sage as their new head coach on a three-year contract.
The Frenchman succeeds Oliver Glasner, who opted against renewing his contract that expired at the end of the season.
Glasner enjoyed a wonderful spell at Selhurst Park, winning the FA Cup and Conference League and leaves behind a strong squad for Sage to work with.
The 47-year-old took over at Lens 12 months ago and impressed in just his second coaching role, guiding the club to a second-place finish in Ligue 1 last season. They also won the Coupe de France for the first time in their history.
