BBL 2025 Squads: Full list of players, team rosters ahead of Big Bash League season 15
The upcoming season of the Big Bash League (BBL) will begin on Sunday with Perth Scorchers taking on Sydney Sixers at Optus Stadium in Perth.
Having won five and three titles, respectively, the Scorchers and Sixers are the two most successful teams in the history of the 20-over competition.
The tournament will feature a host of Australian and international stars, including David Warner, Babar Azam and Sam Curran. Each team will play 10 matches in the regular season before the playoffs, which will comprise four matches.
The top two teams after the regular season will lock horns in the Qualifer, the winner of which will directly qualify for the final. The losing team of the Qualifier will play the winner of the Knockout—contested between the third and fourth placed teams—in the Challenger for a place in the final.
The regular season will take place from December 14 to January 18 and will comprise a total of 40 matches. The finals series will be held from January 20 to January 25.
