Another UCL classic in store? Watch as Dembele puts PSG in front after just three minutes vs Bayern Munich
We look set for another Champions League classic in the second leg between Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain after it took just three minutes for the first goal at the Allianz Arena.
After a sensational 5-4 win for PSG in the first leg, Ousmane Dembele set the tone for another thrilling game when he put the visitors 1-0 up on the night with a tidy finish.
A nice ball from the returning Fabian Ruiz set Khvicha Kvaratskhelia clear down the left, with the Georgian winger driving forward before cutting the ball back to the Ballon d’Or winner who slotted it home with his left foot to increase the holders’ advantage to two goals and leave Bayern with it all to do.
While certainly not the start Bayern would have wanted amidst an electric atmosphere in Bavaria, last week’s second leg – which saw them pull the game back from 5-2 to 5-4 – will teach them that this tie is far from over.
