New Zealand’s Seifert-Allen record highest partnership in T20 World Cup history
New Zealand openers Tim Seifert and Finn Allen recorded the highest partnership in T20 World Cup history during the Group D encounter against UAE at the MAC Stadium in Chennai on Tuesday.
The Kiwi duo broke the previous record of 170 scored by England’s Alex Hales and Jos Buttler against India in the semifinal of the 2022 edition in Australia.
The record partnership helped New Zealand chase down the 173-run target set by the UAE and continue its winning run at the 2026 World Cup.
