IND vs PAK, Asia Cup 2025: India registers second-biggest T20I win against Pakistan


India registered its second-biggest T20I win against Pakistan, in terms of balls remaining, in their Asia Cup 2025 clash in Dubai on Sunday.

The Men in Blue coasted to a seven-wicket victory with 25 balls to spare, narrowly short of their 2016 triumph when they won with 27 balls left.

A brilliant bowling effort set up the result after Pakistan, put in to bat, was restricted to 127 for nine. Wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav led the way with three wickets, while Axar Patel picked up two. Varun Chakaravarthy also snapped up one wicket.

In reply, India’s chase was sparked by Abhishek Sharma’s explosive 13-ball 31 before skipper Suryakumar Yadav anchored the innings with an unbeaten knock, guiding the side to its second straight win in Group A.
