3 Oui Oui Oui (Bet Now: $3.10) has let down with purpose to win her past two, firstly in a relatively weak race at Newcastle before repeating the dose in impressive fashion in a Midway here. Hard to knock the way she’s racing and 1400m should be fine.
Danger
10 Kyeema (Bet Now: $7.00) comes here off the back of a first up second on the Kenso when attempting to lead throughout and he gave a strong kick from the front but was nabbed on the peg by Off The Press. 1400m should be fine and with his racing style, he’ll give himself every chance.
Long Shot
5 Justela (Bet Now: $31.00) is a definite improver up in trip for Kerry Parker. She resumed in the Midway two weeks back over 1200m here where she found them a bit sharp and was held up at times but was good late when clear. If within range, she’s dangerous.
Race 2. (13:10) Tab Highway Hcp (C3) 1200m

Very keen on 12 Micro Mikki (Bet Now: $16.00). Trialled like an absolute rocket prior to resuming in a strong benchmark race at Rosehill a few weeks ago when doing work in the run and tried hard but first up at benchmark level, he just wasn’t quite up to it. Back to a Class 3 Highway, gee he looks hard to beat.
Danger
1 Tartaglia (Bet Now: $12.00) comes to Highway grade for Paul Snowden after racing over 1200m at Eagle Farm several weeks ago where he was outclassed and never a factor behind Negotiations. Back to this level with a kind map, claim, he’s right in the mix.
Long Shot
2 Bengal (Bet Now: $27.00) was a total forgive from the Highway two weeks back here when wide no cover on speed and that hard run just told on her late in the piece behind Massira. Proven Highway performer, he can run a much improved race with better luck in running.
Race 3. (13:45) Spelling At Coolmore Mt White Hcp 1100m

5 Steel Will (Bet Now: $26.00), I think, could be a serious horse for Chris Waller in terms of the Golden Slipper. He is such a well bred colt, being closely related to September Run, Steel City and others. His recent trial win at Hawkesbury…my god he was sharp, especially the last 100m when asked for the effort. He’s a class colt, keen to see how he goes.
Danger
1 Tornado Valley (Bet Now: $3.50) has been given a let up since a win at Flemington during Cup Week, finishing best on the shifty track to win the Maribyrnong Plate. Has eyes on the Magic Millions and a tick over trial was quite good.
Long Shot
6 Masvingo (Bet Now: $4.20) is a talented filly for Bjorn Baker that comes here off the back of a first up third in the Wyong Magic Millions. She had a suck run in transit just off speed and I thought was going to be a live threat at one stage but she half crabbed around the turn and just whacked late behind stablemate Paradoxium. Fitter, bigger track, I think she can run a much improved race.
Race 4. (14:20) Racing And Sports (Bm94) 1600m

5 Sun God (Bet Now: $3.00) should prove hard to beat for Chris Waller after his second over 1800m here two weeks ago. He looked all over the winner when presented but just found one better in Pocketing, who had a cheap run on speed and was much too good. That was his first run in a month so with room for improvement, he takes beating.
Danger
1 Amor Victorious (Bet Now: $5.50) can bounce back hard against these. Track was too wet in The Gong. He found firmer footing in The Ingham and while held by Yorkshire, I thought he was far from disgraced in defeat. Much better suited at this level, he lands on speed and takes running down.
Long Shot
7 Chica Mojito (Bet Now: $12.00) finds it very hard to win but it was hard not to like her return at Rosehill three weeks ago. She got back in the run and was held up at times but when clear, she was quite good late in the piece. Good set up for her here and strikes a winnable race.
Race 5. (14:55) Petaluma (Bm72) 1100m

9 Big Red Tequila (Bet Now: $13.00) looks a promising mare for Joe Pride that trialled up like a rocket prior to resuming at Kembla where she looked the winner a long way out. Just a matter of getting clear air and once that eventuated, she knuckled down with purpose to win well. Confident she can measure up.
Danger
2 Columbia Blue (Bet Now: $8.50) is progressive and heading in the right direction for Joe Pride. 2/2 this time in, winning fresh at Wyong before getting a peach from Stapleford to win at the midweeks at Canterbury. Harder here but think he’ll run a beauty once again.
Long Shot
12 Ice Kool (Bet Now: $2.40) is an interesting runner for David Pfieffer. He went like a rocket on debut at Warwick Farm, leading throughout over 1000m and smashed the clock, albeit it was a day where they were running fast times. Extra 100m and clearly more depth, but has good early toe and will give cheek.
Race 6. (15:30) Schweppes (Bm78) 1600m

6 Sounds Unusual (Bet Now: $17.00) steps up to the mile after resuming over 1300m at Rosehill a few weeks ago. He got back off the speed and while he was never a winning threat, he kept chasing and was pretty good in defeat. He’s got an engine under the hood and with good upside, he appeals.
Danger
4 Sly Boots (Bet Now: $5.50) should be better for the first up run, which came over 1400m at Rosehill when near the speed throughout and tried hard but first up, he just wasn’t quite sharp enough when third to Theblade. Fitter and up in trip, can press forward, he’ll only run well.
Long Shot
3 Rogue Bear (Bet Now: $61.00) is a Kris Lees trained gelding that resumes. This guy is first up, having not raced since the Winter when producing a strong finale to take out the Cairns Cup. He’ll likely be spotting them a start but fresh at 1600m signals some form of intent so watch betting.

13 Sequista (Bet Now:
$SP.00) has finally got the maiden win on the board and she can certainly go on with it. Not sure she beat much at Gosford last time to break the maiden status but the manner in which she put them away was just so damn impressive, winning by a space. Her confidence is up, she can win again.
Danger
12 Mother Goose (Bet Now: $8.50) comes here as a last start winner for Gary Portelli, that win coming at Canterbury when on speed and credit to her, she was there to be beaten but she found under pressure to fend them off and score. Maps to stalk the pace and off a win, commands respect.
Long Shot
4 Unique Ambition (Bet Now: $13.00) is first up for John Sargent and bears close watching. She hasn’t raced since the Sapphire in the Autumn when first up and didn’t fire a shot behind Infancy. Been given a good break and her trial work has been quite encouraging so watch betting.

2 Snack Bar (Bet Now: $3.70) should have won here two weeks ago but IMO was given a sore back by Tommy. There was ample time to slot in one off but he elected to stay wide no cover and IMO it clearly cost him the win. Hard fit now, and with a better run in transit, I think good luck beating him.
Danger
13 Shelstein (Bet Now: $11.00) should be better for the run at Canterbury, where he was kept quite safe in betting but not much went right for him and he was never really a factor behind Columbia Blue. Fitter, maps to stalk the speed and be effective late. Dangerous.
Long Shot
5 True To Form (Bet Now: $26.00) is a Kris Lees trained gelding that resumes. He looks to be humming off his trial work, the latest at Gosford where he was well held but looked to be absolutely jogging. Good fresh horse, I say he is here to play and can take this out.
Race 9. (17:20) Tab (Bm88) 2000m

3 Elliptical (Bet Now: $8.50) looks to be sneaky flying for Chris Waller and I think can take this out. He ran over the 1400m at Rosehill three weeks ago when back and wide and while he was never a winning threat, he kept chasing and was pretty good in defeat I thought behind Grid Girl. Hard fit, 2000m, he appeals each way.
Danger
7 Private Legacy (Bet Now: $15.00) didn’t have the best of luck behind Pocketing two weeks back here. She was back in the run but trucking but when it came to getting clear air, it didn’t eventuate and it ended up being a rather ugly watch. 2000m looks fine and is dangerous if the breaks go her way.
Long Shot
13 Bacio Del Mist (Bet Now: $71.00) steps up to 2000m after resuming over 1550m at Canterbury where she got back to near last in the run and while she was never a winning threat, she kept chasing and was far from disgraced. Not sure she is a horse I could back to win but is a must for exotics.

6 Applaud (Bet Now: $6.50) has returned very well for Peter Snowden and is one of the key threats. Surprised most with a win first up at Kembla before repeating the effort with a gutsy third at Rosehill to the in form Tuned, trying hard but just couldn’t quite get there. Hard fit, he appeals.
Danger
2 Bartolf (Bet Now: $4.80) is bursting to win again for O’Shea/Charlton. Looked the winner three weeks ago at Rosehill when presented but just found one better in Tuned, who of course backed up and won The Gateway so the form reads very well and strikes a winnable race.
Long Shot
12 Barbray (Bet Now: $12.00) steps up to 1400m after resuming over 1250m under the lights at Canterbury. He got into a suck spot behind the speed and was trucking. Just a matter of getting clear and he only got warm late when eventually clear when second to Mother Goose. Fitter and up in trip, he only runs well.
BEST BET: Race Eight Number 2 Snack Bar
