WTC 2025-27 Points Table updated after Ashes series: Australia extends lead at top, England reeling at 7th spot
Australia extended its lead at the top of the World Test Championship (WTC) points table while England continued to reel at the seventh position after their five-match Ashes series finished on Thursday.
Host Australia won the series 4-1, finishing with a five-wicket win in Sydney on day five.
The team from down under now has seven wins out of eight with the only loss coming in the Boxing Day Test against the touring England, who has six defeats and three wins in 10 matches.
