WPL 2026 Final: Why was Radha Yadav not given hit-wicket on last ball?

Radha Yadav hit the winning runs for Royal Challengers Bengaluru to secure the side a second Women’s Premier League title against Delhi Capitals in Vadodara on Thursday.

In a dramatic finish, with four runs needed off three deliveries, Radha lofted the ball over extra covers to get RCB to the record target of 204 runs.

As Radha played the shot, the bails fell off the stumps. However, she was not given hit-wicket since DC wicketkeeper Lizelle Lee disrupted the stumps with her gloves.
