The accolade went to Shahid Afridi in the inaugural edition of the event, which was won by India after it defeated archrival Pakistan in the final.
In 2024, India’s Jasprit Bumrah claimed the award, after bagging 15 wickets from eight games at an incredible economy of 4.17.
