Scottish Lassie Out of Breeders’ Cup Distaff


Scottish Lassie , who was entered in the Nov. 1 Breeders’ Cup Distaff (G1) at Del Mar has been scratched from the race. The decision was announced Oct. 30. 

Winner of the Coaching Club American Oaks Invitational Stakes (G1), Scottish Lassie is co-owned by trainer Jorge Abreu, Sportsmen Stable, Parkland Thoroughbreds, Photo Finish, and Corms Racing Stable. The daughter of McKinizie is 1-0-2 from four starts this year and banked $403,760. She was bred in Kentucky by Winchester Farm.
