Royal Challengers Bengaluru clinched its second Women’s Premier League title on Thursday after pipping Delhi Capitals by six wickets in a thrilling finish to the WPL 2026 season.
Here’s a list of all the records which were broken during the WPL 2026 final:
- RCB chased down 203 to register the highest successful chase in WPL history. The side beat its own record, the team previously having chased 202 against Gujarat Giants last year.
- Moreover, RCB’s 204-run total was the highest in a WPL final. It beat DC’s 203-run first-innings total.
- Smriti Mandhana and Georgia Voll registered the highest partnership for any wicket in WPL history after they added 165 for the second wicket. The RCB duo eclipsed the 162-run stand shared between DC’s Shafali Verma and Meg Lanning against RCB in March 2023.
- With this title win, RCB now has joint-most WPL trophies (2), sharing the honour with Mumbai Indians.
