RCB vs DC final: Smriti Mandhana, Georgia Voll share highest partnership in WPL history


Smriti Mandhana and Georgia Voll registered the highest partnership in Women’s Premier League (WPL) history during the final against Delhi Capitals (DC), which took place at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara on Thursday.

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) skipper and her Australian partner put up a 164-run stand, eclipsing the 162-run stand shared between DC’s Shafali Verma and Meg Lanning against RCB in March 2023.

With a target of 204 set by Delhi Capitals in the final, Smriti (82) and Voll (79) led from the front to bring the equation down significantly.

The two also occupy fourth place in the highest partnerships list, sharing a 142-run stand against the Capitals earlier this season.
