Ranji Trophy 2026: Who are the top wicket-takers of the season?


The Ranji Trophy 2025-26 season came to a close with Jammu & Kashmir lifting its maiden title at the KSCA Stadium in Hubli on Saturday.

All-rounder Auqib Nabi was one of the most influential figures in J&K’s triumphant season.

The 29-year old topped the list of the bowlers with most wickets this season with 60. He became only the third pacer in the history of Ranji Trophy to accumulate 60 wickets, after Jaydev Unadkat of Saurashtra and Karnataka’s Dodda Ganesh.

Nabi reached the tally in the final, where he picked a fifer in the first innings, including the scalps of Karun Nair and the sensational Smaran Ravichandran off consecutive deliveries. Overall this season, he picked seven fifers in 17 innings at an average of 12.56.

Mayank Mishra of Uttarakhand and Shreyas Gopal of Karnataka with 59 and 48 wickets sit second and third in the list respectively.
