Ranji Trophy 2025-26: Sudip Chatterjee scores maiden FC double century


Bengal batter Sudip Chatterjee scored a double century against Services on Day 2 of a Ranji Trophy clash taking place at Bengal Cricket Academy Ground in Kalyani.

The 34-year-old mainstay notched up his maiden double ton in First-Class cricket, bringing it up in 315 deliveries.

The left-arm batter, playing his 85th FC match, has compiled over 5000 runs, including 13 hundreds and 27 fifties. His previous highest score was 192 in a Ranji Trophy match for Bengal against Baroda in December 2014.
