Quinton de Kock reverses decision to retire from ODIs, makes cut for Pakistan series

Quinton de Kock is set for a shock international return, with the wicketkeeper-batter reportedly recalled to South Africa’s ODI and T20I squads for the upcoming tour of Pakistan in October.

The 32-year-old had stepped away from Test cricket in 2021 and announced his retirement from ODIs following the 2023 World Cup. However, de Kock has not announced a complete international retirement.

His last appearance in South African colours came in the T20 World Cup final in Barbados in June 2024.

South Africa’s tour of Pakistan will feature two Tests, three ODIs and three T20Is.
