Nuwan Thushara takes legal route to have Sri Lanka Cricket expedite issuance of IPL 2026 NOC – reports
Sri Lanka fast bowler Nuwan Thushara reportedly on Thursday submitted a petition to the Colombo District Court, requesting an order that mandates Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) to provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to facilitate his participation in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The case, which has been taken up before the Colombo District Court, has the first hearing scheduled for April 9.
“In his plaint, the pacer has named SLC president Shammi Silva, secretary Bandula Dissanayake, treasurer Sujeewa Godaliyadda, and CEO Ashley de Silva as defendants,” NewsWire reports.
