New Zealand squad update for T20I series vs India: Neesham, Ferguson, Seifert added
Fast bowler Kristian Clarke and opening batter Tim Robinson were on Monday released from New Zealand’s squad for the ongoing T20I series against India.
Meanwhile, all-rounder Jimmy Neesham, pacer Lockie Ferguson and wicketkeeper-batter Tim Seifert joined the Blackcaps camp for the final two matches of the series.
Aggressive opening batter Finn Allen will join the squad on Thursday in Thiruvananthapuram, ahead of the fifth and final T20I on Saturday.
India took an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series on Sunday, less than two weeks before it begins its T20 World Cup defence at home.
