New home shirt design, cost and how to buy
Premier League giants Manchester City have released their new Puma home shirt as part of the club’s 2025/26 kit.
Familiar sponsors Etihad Airways feature prominently on the front of the shirt, which has gone on sale before the end of a rare recent campaign in which City will not win the title.
For the first time, the sky blue colour surrounds a white sash more readily associated with City’s away kits. It has been launched in a video featuring the likes of top scorer Erling Haaland and manager Pep Guardiola alongside actor John Thompson.
Man City kit 25/26: When will it be worn first?
The kit debuted at the 2025 Fifa Club World Cup, which started for City against Moroccan club Wydad in Philadelphia on June 18.
“The sash has always been a loved design that people remember fondly,” said club ambassador and playing great Mike Summerbee, who was one of the first to wear the sash design on the pitch during the 1970s.
“I hope fans around the world enjoy the video and that this kit brings more special memories for the club.”
How to buy Manchester City 25/26 kit
The kit is available from City’s online shop and superstore. Authentic and replica versions are available, with the latter worn by the players and made with Puma’s Ultraweave fabric, which “reduces weight and friction for elite-level performance”.
“We’re so excited to be featuring the iconic sash – made famous from away days of old – on the home kit,” said Puma’s Marco Mueller.
“Both in this kit and all our kits for this upcoming season, fans across the world will be reminded that, with our partnership, we do things differently and want to push the boundaries in terms of design, creativity and innovation.”
Long-sleeve and short-sleeve versions are available.
