Mumbai Indians used a concussion substitution to replace Corbin Bosch with Ashwani Kumar during an IPL 2025 match against Gujarat Titans on Tuesday.
South African all-rounder Bosch suffered a blow to his helmet while batting, during the 20th over of the 1st innings, bowled by Titans quick Praisdh Krishna.
Bosch scored an important 22-ball 27, including two sixes in the final over, to help Mumbai Indians cross 150.
Left-arm pacer Ashwani was introduced in the 10th over of the 2nd innings, making him the first concussion sub of the IPL 2025 season.
