Leading Sires Represented at Arqana v.2 Yearling Sale
The catalog for Arqana’s v.2 Yearling Sale is now online and features 171 yearlings by leading sires such as Dark Angel , Kodiac , Mehmas , Siyouni , and Starspangledbanner .
The sale takes place Aug. 20 following the August Sale which begins Aug. 16 and concludes Aug. 18. Among its notable graduates are classic winners Coeursamba, Teppal, and Olmedo, as well as the talented Angers, Pradaro, Fang, Aviateur, and Outburst.
Established stallions with representation this year include Advertise, Bated Breath, City Light, Cotai Glory, Galiway, Goken, Intello, Kendargent, Kodi Bear, Mehmas, Penny’s Picnic, Raven’s Pass, Sioux Nation, Ten Sovereigns, and Wooded.
Among the young sires with offspring cataloged are A’Ali, Ardad, Armor, Blackbeard, Ebro River, Earthlight, Galileo Gold, Golden Horde, Hello Youmzain, Harry Angel, Keiai Nautique, Lucky Vega, Perfect Power, Romanised, Sergei Prokofiev, Sealiway, Space Blues, Supremacy, Thunder Moon, and Victor Ludorum.
Yearlings out of black-type mares include Lot 312, a son of Thunder Moon out of the group 2-placed Al Johrah, the dam of debut winner and Norfolk Stakes (G2) sixth Afjan. Offspring of listed scorers Acapulco Gold (Lot 309), Evaporation (359), Sainte Amarante (444), and Sopran Verne (452) will also go under the hammer.
Buyers will also have the opportunity to buy siblings to classy performers including group scorer Outburst (347), as well as listed winners and group-placed Loubeisien (391), Prince Lancelot (429), and Zorken (477).
